About the artist
The story behind the art
Sam de la Rosa got his start at Charlton Comics in 1975, with Fightin' Army #120 as his first published work.
Since then he's penciled and inked for Marvel, DC, Image, Disney, Dark Horse and IDW, including Dark Horse's first two Predator series in 1989.
Today he's still a Marvel cover artist. His recent work includes Venom: Lethal Protector II #1, Superior Spider-Man and Miles Morales.
