The story behind the art
Arthur "Art" Adams broke in with the Longshot miniseries for Marvel in 1985 and quickly became one of the most imitated artists of the decade, thanks in part to his X-Men and New Mutants annuals.
He created Monkeyman and O'Brien for Dark Horse and has spent much of his career on covers, where his intricate, crowded compositions shine. He is famous for drawing giant monsters, Godzilla above all.
